Asians and Friends Chicago held its 26th anniversary party in Roger's Park at Bill and Chen's place. Chen keeps a wonderful garden that was in all its glory, and the bean-bag champs: Bill and Makoto! Congrats.

Harris Bank LGBT Pride Kickoff

Part of Asians and Friends Chicago's growth plans are to possibly involve more professional- and career-focused events, so through some networking officers were invited to Harris Bank's GLBT Pride breakfast. Here, executives with the bank speak in support of the company's GLBT initiatives, and an employee, Larry Passo, receives an award from the bank's GLBT group.

Asians and Friends Chicago Celebrated 25

Asians and Friends Chicago celebrated its 25th anniversary in style with a gala ball held at the Hotel Allegro in downtown Chicago. The event included a silent auction featuring a local celebrity's painting, a jazz dance company and a local cabaret show choir.

Asians and Friends Get Blog Mention

Asians and Friends Chicago was featured in a blog about GLBT and straight anniversaries. The group is celebrating its 25th anniversary along with couples who are gathering to honor unions and relationships.

George Takei and Brad Altman Make Census Plea

Our superhero gay duo have made a public-service announcement regarding the Census and how gay couples can "be counted." This also ties into Chicago's historic "Our Anniversary Ball," a GLBT & straight celebration of unions, relationships and family, set for May 7 at the Hotel Allegro downtown. Asians and Friends Chicago has also tied its 25th Anniversary celebration to this event.

Bye-bye Dat

Just a few hazy memories of Dat's going-away and bachelorette party. We'll miss him as he moves to Ohio to be with his new love.
